DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
I am not an in-network provider for any insurance plan. However, many PPO insurance plans offer some out-of-network coverage and may reimburse a portion of the fee for our sessions. Each insurance company and service plan has different rules and benefits, so I recommend that you research for yourself to see if you are eligible for some insurance reimbursement. I am happy to provide detailed billing statements (super bills) that you may need to submit for reimbursement.
WHAT IS THE COST FOR SESSIONS?
My fee is $250 for a standard 50-minute intake session, including the initial intake session.
HOW DOES TELETHERAPY WORK?
All sessions are currently being held online via telehealth so that you can have your session from the comfort and convenience of your home or office. You will receive a link to a video appointment on a secure platform and all you need to do is click on the link at the time of your appointment. No more commuting in traffic or looking for parking! Logging on takes seconds and most people can get started without needing any additional technology. All you will need for a successful telehealth visit are a private location and a stable wi-fi internet connection on a computer, tablet, or smartphone.
Telehealth is a great option for most clients, but there are some issues and needs that are better suited to in-person treatment. We can discuss this to make sure it is the right fit for you.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT IF I CONTACT YOU?
I will respond to answer questions and schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation to discuss your therapy needs, get any additional questions answered, and determine if scheduling an appointment is right for you. If we decide to meet for an initial intake, I will spend the first 1-2 appointments getting to know you better, asking about your history and current concerns, and offering recommendations for treatment. You will also have the opportunity to learn more about the therapy process and my style and approach. If at any point it is decided that I am not the best fit for your needs, I can provide you with alternate referrals to make sure you get connected to expert care that is right for you.
